Winter Has Arrived .

Well its been bloody cold this week with an average Temp of - 8c and some snow not a lot but enough to be a pain in the back side .

This is the old chauffeurs cottage as im on my way to the castle with a bucket full of logs .

and this is the east side of the castle ( taken a month ago ) this is what greats you when you approach from the chauffeurs cottage .

It looked like that here the other day, but the past couple of days have been well above normal temps for late November.

Cool place where you work, Shane. Too bad about the cool temps. Like Rocky said, our temps here have been cold(-10C at night sometimes) to unseasonablly warm for this time of year (+11C the other day). Few snow flurries here and there, but nothing stuck around...........yet.

Not tempting fate ... but there's plenty of time for Rocky to get his snow blower yet !
Its going to get milder mid week around + 4c but with a wind so that will cancel it out , but its getting colder again by the week end .
I must admit i would like a cold dry winter this year its been so wet and mild this last few years and this summer was just a wash out , so long cold winter would help get things back to normal and kill a few midges .
