I couldn't believe how nasty people were to him.
There was no need for that, but I don't live there and don't know what kind of scams that may go on in the streets.
Those people sure seemed to be under a lot of stress.
Where I live we're more laid back and easy going, but I've also been to very big cities and witnessed the rat race of life they have there.

Rocky, a few years ago, one "homeless"" man killed another " homeless" man over territory - a corner begging spot. The man killed drove a Mercedes and earned and estimated $85,000 per year. The perpetrator was not quite as wealthy, but almost. This happened in Florida. There are many professional beggars here - and their income is tax free.

There was an expose on TV a few years ago done by an undercover reporter in Toronto and exposed "professional" beggars in the streets who were not down and out at all and were just running a scam to get free money.

We had an aggressive traffic light windshield washer that would get upset with drivers that wouldn't let him wash (streak) their windshields. That is until he tried to do a petite mid 20's girls windshield. She told him no and to get away from her car. She was the second or third car in line with cars beside her and behind her, basically trapped, when he got irate and began screaming at her and making threatening gestures. Let's just say, he no longer washes windshields and she went home safe.
