i was there that day very sad very very sad day ! the one abiding memory i have is a section of the croud booing becouse he didn't land it and crashed .
f**king idiots just yobs !

Many kudos for him for completing the marathon....I wish him the best.

However, and I really don't mean to sound cold here......I have more sympathy for those bikers who are just riding along safely and a car takes them out than I do for a stunt rider. Let's face it, they chose to do something VERY dangerous and knew the risks. Just as I feel bad for a Formula One pilot that gets hurt, I don't feel as bad for one of them as I do for the normal guy that gets hit by a drunk driver.
