First of all thanks for letting me join you all. I started riding in the mid sixties and of all things my first bike was a 175 Yamaha Then having passed my test i got a 1966 Mk11 Spitfire. A big step up. At twenty i joined Staffordshire Police and on completion of the two year probation period i joined HQG as a dual purpose car/motorcycle patrol officer. I was actually a Motor cyclist but would get in a car when needed. Initially riding TR6Ps then as the years passed 750 Commandos then 830 Commandos. About this time i started to build a Triton, it never got finished usual story time/money/family. In 1978 i got smashed up on a works bike when a guy turned right across my path, when i was making good progress. So i didnt ride again till 1998. That was when my FXSTB arrived after six month wait. I rode that regularly in the summers and had the Africa twin for the rough weather. Two years ago i started another Triton, nearly finished. But i also imported a B25 and TR25w from Flashback in the USA. So i am now seventy and going into hospital early December for a new knee. Just hope i will actually get to ride the Triton. Happy landings folks Phil C.

Welcome to TT from Eastern Canada.
Great intro and an interesting riding background.
Glad you're getting your Triton built. Good luck with your upcoming knee surgery and hope you get to enjoy the fruits of your labour.
