Well we thought it was time to have a bit of a walk about after all the Turkey and sweets and gored knows what else we consume over the Christmas period.
So as this morning was nice and bright with a slight nip in the air we thought that it would be a good idea. Here below then are a few pictures for you to have a butchers at.

Below is Wanda, searching for another Christmas Turkey.

We don't have to go that far from our house to get views like this.

Lincolnshire in parts is really flat, it's no wonder in WW2 it was dubbed, "Bomber County", because of all the RAF base's in the county, that had heavy bombers stationed there.

We had a fair bit of rain 2 days ago, and as you can see the fields have a bit of surface water, last night it went below freezing. The ducks enjoyed the ice rink.

She was having a ball.

One car went passed us in over 2 hours of walking along the country lanes. You could here everything that Mother nature can throw at your ears, brilliant

But come summer Canada will once again look totally stunning. Mind you Canada in winter is just as stunning. That's the tourist in me, it's a bit different I guess when you live there and your up to your neck in the white stuff, for weeks on end.

Yes, it's really nice and quiet and you can just get lost in your own thoughts. And then you come back down to earth when you can't see where Wanda's gone

Nice pics and some beautiful countryside. Sounds like a good idea to go out and get some fresh air and exercise. Sunny and -6C for a daytime high, sounds like a great day for a walk in the woods.
