The weather couldn't have been nicer at 20C (68F) [an official temp taken in the shade] but it was much warmer in the sun.
25 bikes showed up at the meeting place but only 18 came along for the full ride. I was riding my BSA Victor Roadster and BSA was well represented with Lightnings and Firebirds. There were also a few Triumphs scattered among the vintage Japanese bikes and a lone Harley Sportster.
The first stop was at a donut and coffee shop well outside the city as can be seen in the first pic.
The stop for lunch was in the inland town of Windsor (very British) and the Spitfire Arms British Pub (second pic) which is into RAF nostalgia and British pub-style food. It's a full service restaurant and bar with many British items on the menu such as bangers & mash and fish and chips. We occupied the sidewalk patio and I went for the bangers & mash while others went for the fish and chips. The town of Windsor also happens to be where the only Triumph motorcycle dealer in Nova Scotia is located.
From Windsor we cut across country to the Atlantic coast and followed the winding coastal road home. For me it was a 136 mile (217 km) ride on the single cylinder BSA and the old girl purred like a kitten the whole way.
