At some stage I will have to upgrade the forum software to the new version 2. This will be a major upgrade and we will be running on a default setting until I slowly implement themes and features. We will not lose any data but I will be dropping some of the features we now have and brining in new ones. Please have a look at what I have done so far in the coding and feature department.

In particular I need feedback on the following items

1. Gallery - this is a new gallery and I think it is easer to use plus it does not require the images to be resized before uploading. It also has video options. When looking at the gallery you can switch between the two galleries on the grey bar above the gallery you will find " Albums - User albums "

2. Theme's - Well I will need to drop a few theme's we have here and bring in new ones for this version of software. Have a look at them and you can change them in the left column. Simply select the theme from the drop down menu and click on the thumbnail below and it will change to that theme. I have not done any work on the logo as I will be using the same one we have here now.

I tested the photo gallery by uploading a single photo in the General section, creating an album under MyAlbums and doing a bulk upload to it. It took me a little bit to find the commands to click on; but the process went smoothly and no resizing was necessary. The commands to click on do not jump out at you; you have to look for them. When you do a bulk upload, after the upload is finished, you have to click on the "Submit" button to get the uploaded photos into the album. That is not intuitive; but it is easy enough. I like the ease of uploading and the bulk uploading is MUCH easier than it is in our current album. The bulk upload is similar to PhotoBucket's bulk upload; but the step by step is not clearly laid out like it is in PhotoBucket. Once you run through the process, it is easy.
