What did all the part's set you back? As far as the parts go. Now that I've got a metric set of tools, I've been doing my own work on my Bobber now days. I've still got to get that code reader that tell you what is exactly wrong with the bike and the part you'll need to fix it with. It's kind of high in price, but in the long run, it will pay for it's self. Anyway, I really like those exhaust pipes a lot.

I really like how you have your bobber set up. Where did you get the pipes and how much did they run you? Also, are they slip ons or wielded? I like that tool bag along with the handle bars also. The whole bike looks absolutely great and I really like the vintage look too.

The exhaust are slip ons so no welding. They are from Cone engineering and are $650 for the black cera coated. The bars are factory highbars with the cable extensions, total on those was about $300ish if I recall. The retro look is what I was going for. Tweaking and coaxing a bit more retro feel out of the Bobber than was already there. Which was quite a bit to start with. I haven't done and airbox delete yet or sprung the seat but those are on the list. Tail tidy and new signals for up front to slim things down a bit are next though.

I like what you've done with it. It looks really nice and retro. I've put the same handlebars on my Bobber also, when I put my forward controls on it. I really like those pipes a lot too. But, I'm really into those { saddle bags } even more. As for my seat, I've got a really bad back and I need that travel, that the stock solo seat gives me. I think you're talking about a Bates solo seat with the springs, that bolt to the frame and seat. I love the look of those and would put one on my bike, if I could. They look so retro and cool as can be. I put a bates solo seat on this little 1950 HD 45 Trike, that I used to own and made into a little bar hopper, chopper. With a long springer front end on it, I did it right too. By raking the the neck, so that the motor sat where it should set. This was when, I was back in my twenties though. Back when I was a lot younger and I didn't have the aches and pains, that I have now day's. I'm curious though, to see how you change out those air box's? Please, take pictures and keep us informed. I'm really big, into retro a lot. So any cool stuff, like what you're doing to your Bobber. More than likely, I'm interested in what your doing with your Bobber and I like your retro look ideas. So, please take picture and keep us informed.
