BGRIN he really went for those meals - and they looked pretty tasty!
I'm probably being un-Canadian, but I have never eaten poutine and don't even know if you can get it around here.
Great to know that we're looking after our guys and gals in uniform TUP TUP

I have eaten the Canadian hard rations a time or two. There is more in them than you can possibly eat in one meal. We used to trade them with our "neighbors" for some of their good gear when deployed together.
They made great bargaining tools.
Some were pretty good, Others I would not have fed to a dog.

I suppose that with most rations you get your likes and dislikes. I remember back in the 70's we used to get huge biscuits in our rations that would really fill you up if you were hungry. If you soaked then in water or milk they would enlarge to about 3 times their dried state, they also were not that bad to eat and I enjoyed them.
