Heads up to Hemibee, Sikatri and all in east Texas. Keep your eyes on the Gulf for the the next few days. Also Rocky, and all of you guys in the maritime provenances Keep your eyes on Teddy. The projected path is not good. This hurricane season is not over yet!!

I checked our weather service this morning and saw that Teddy may hit us as a tropical storm next week.
Even tropical winds can be damaging so we're keeping an eye on it.

Dorian arrived a year ago as a tropical storm and it was almost as bad a hurricane Juan in 2003. Some areas had more damage than Juan.
Juan was fast-moving, but like Sally, Teddy is also slow; not as slow as Sally but even so, we may have it hanging around longer than we would like.
The weather service was on the radio this morning issuing warnings, giving information and saying Teddy will probably be here on Tuesday.
The present track is a full-on hit against this province, but there is also a chance that it might move to the east.
All we can do is wait and see.

Heads up to all of you in the target areas.

Well......so far, Teddy is not much more that an ordinary storm with some rain and wind - and has made landfall well east of me and moving away.
It rained all night with moderate winds. Some areas lost power, but all is well here in the city.
The winds and rain will be here most of the day, but unless it suddenly gains strength, it's almost a non-event.
But the fat lady hasn't sung yet BGRIN

Good news. Stay dry.

We received 15 plus inches of rain and had two days of flooding in some areas. My location has been ok, although my AC has acted up for two days. Bye bye Beta.

Since my post 90 minutes ago the sky has brightened, no rain, barely any wind and I expect the sun very soon :Champ: :Champ::Champ:

That is GREAT news!! TUP TUP

Interestingly, Beta was the first “Greek” alphabet storm to make land in Texas.
The rains quit here Monday from the remnants of Sally. We've had two days of only a quick passing shower or two.

We have never had a Greek letter storm come ashore in Florida. And I don't want to start now!

The Buxom Lass is on the last verse here on PEI at mid afternoon. Probably got 30 or 40 cm of rain in total over a 24 hr period . Needed the water badly , had no significant moisture since June , unheard of in this neck of the woods . To late for the potatoes , some have died in the field but the wet will be a huge help with the harvesting process of the rest .
Will be waiting to see how much shore line was lost , could be bad , will know tomorrow .
