I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I agree with the others about a larger bike.
My solution was to buy a garage dolly that works a treat.

Yeah, I'm gonna stress the hell outuh my Bonny's side-stand lug, maybe breaking it off with her three hundred and ninety-five pounds of weight, so that I can do that turn thang . . . not! Though, I must admit, it is a pretty easy way to turn 'round a light-weight bike. So for that, cool . . .
 
Not to be done with a Ducati as the prop stand is bolted directly to the engine/gearbox casing and excessive enthusiasm could work out very expensive.
