Except for the more modern electronics, this is precisely what I found when comparing the the Tiger 800XC with the BMW 800 GS.
I will point out that Triumph has not learned how to deal with the heat issue. The heat on my 2012 Tiger 800 XC is horrible. And I see that has not changed. Triumph, test your bikes in hot, humid climates!
