ATLANTA – Triumph Motorcycles America, Ltd., will recall certain model-year 2022 motorcycles to fix loosely attached rear brake-disc bolts.

The 910 Triumph Speed Triple RR and Triumph Speed Triple RS motorcycles may have rear disc-brake bolts which do not properly mate with the thread form within the rear axle, thus allowing the bolt to loosen.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Part 573 Safety Recall Report 22V-207, the safety risk occurs because, “A loose rear brake disc bolt may contact other componentry and prevent the wheel from rotating freely.”

Riders may hear noise from the affected bolts as a warning.

Triumph dealers will remedy the situation by replacing the bolts and ensure they are locked into the frame.

Dealers and owners are scheduled to receive notification beginning April 29th.
