Assuming that your battery, connections, and everything else is good but your Triumph just goes "click" when starting the problem is most likely tied to an electrical design flaw. Because the headlight remains on during the starting process it draws too much juice and causes the CPU to abort the starting process. The CPU cannot be adjusted or re-mapped. The fix is to install a toggle switch on your headlight so you can turn headlight off when starting. I had the "click" problem REAL BAD, but since I put in the toggle switch my 2009 America is 100% dependable and no more clicks.

Did you have to drill a hole for the switch ? I was thinking about doing this myself.
You MUST drill hole in headlight assembly to install toggle switch. This is capable of do it yourself or have a mechanic do it. It isn't hard at all. Suggest you buy a toggle switch that has wires attached already. I got mine at Home Depot for $4. Inside headlight assembly find the hot wire that goes to the headlight bulb, cut it, and splice in the wires from toggle switch. Push the toggle switch up through the drilled hole and tighten in place with the nut that comes with the switch.

Thanks, I have everything I need to do it, I have a 12v toggle switch with a red LED in the end of the toggle so I can tell if the headlight is on or off. Cheers.
