In general, I think you are correct in your assessment of Indian manufacturing. However, I have noticed an improvement in quality control with the new Royal Enfields. So maybe things are changing with Indian manufacturing.

Most KTMs below 700cc are built in India so hopefully Triumphs will be well built.
