I’m still a snob when it comes to my Tiger 1200 simply because I grew into heavier bikes telling myself “One day I own a 1200…” - as a young kid. A lot of riders ‘earned’ their high CCs by starting with lower CCs first. But… the weight is getting to me. Looking at these bikes, I feel it’s scaling down a lot - after all, a heavy Vespa is almost 400. On the hand (and the reviewer mentions it once, the weight reduction is the most attractive. So this may be an entry-market bike - but it could also be an exit-market bike. Knowing you can pick it up when putting it down is becoming really important to any older rider.

seen on the road, Himalayan is larger than scrambler400.
Scrambler is nice, but in my opinion too small for me, and I'm not tall, I'm 175cm.
Himalayan is a very very very nice bike, I like it a lot...
Never tried, but all the reviews say it's a good bike, and without vibrations, as I could imagine from a large monocilinder engine

I don’t really care for the detailing and overall look of the Himalayan. The double front fender is no doubt functional, but looks contrived. Other details just are not to my taste. I prefer the Triumph in appearance and overall style. It has a more classic look which I’m drawn to.

Based on looks, I feel the same. I would love to see these professionals rate the ease of mechanicing your own bike. My guess is the Enfield is easier to work on.
