Hi, thanks for having me: I’ve been riding and working on my own bikes for over 50 years, but learning something every day. I’ve had a lot of Triumphs from a 1916 Model H through a trials Cub, T100, T110, early and late Bonnevilles and now I’ve a 1970 US spec TR6R, one of the last made by NVT: nice bike and as it has a later disc brake front end, it actually has brakes. The high seat doesn’t bother me being reasonably tall. I do have the usual problem with a cracked frame around the swing arm mount and hope the forum has some guidance for the repair, which I’ll do this winter. I also ride an unmodified mono R650 BMW and an F650GS as a hack, both great bikes which were bought for little money. I’ve CB550 Honda and a Suzuki Rebel awaiting restoration and a pre-war Norton ES2 nearing completion. A link to any wisdom on the OIF frame repair would be gratefully received.
