I'll admit that I'm a bit of a jacket whore (I have six) but this deal was too good to pass up.
It's last years model, but I don't care about that. One year later your new and current model jacket becomes "last years model."
I've made many purchases from this company over the years with great satisfaction. They're great folks to deal with. Now that our dollar is on par with the US dollar it makes cross border shopping even more attractive.
I already have a similar Tourmaster waist jacket that I like very much - and a mesh jacket - but this one combines the best of both worlds.
If it turns out to be as good as it seems I'll sell my other two jackest at our annual swap meet.
My biker buddies love to see my gear up for sale because it's always in good condition and priced to sell.
