Congrats, y’all, y’all have a new monarch. Couldn’t miss it, it was the first thing on TV this morning. LoL.
Nice, does he actually ride?
On a Norton no less. LoL .
Liver pate. Had a variety of cheeses, different jams, toast and various crackers. The pate goes good with black currant.Looks good!
What's in that small sack?
How's putting on sneakers and going for a walk going?
Hmm, delicious.Liver pate. Had a variety of cheeses, different jams, toast and various crackers. The pate goes good with black currant.
I can now tie my own shoes and wash my hair both hands! LoL .
We went yesterday. Probably skipping today, but tomorrow for sure. Got to lose these party pounds! I’ll blame Charles for any weight gain! LoL. I actually had difficulty tying my shoes, simply could not do it one handed.Hmm, delicious.
Yeah, Sikatri, when I asked how's putting on your sneakers and going for a walk, I was really angling on the walking part, not the actual putting on of the sneakers. Still, I suppose lace tying is exercise of sorts. :-)
When I had my big bike accident, I was lying in the road, looking up through my visor. There was a ring of people around the opening, looking down into my helmet.I actually had difficulty tying my shoes, simply could not do it one handed.
Wow, a bit of sad and happy in your comment. Sad about your friend that passed, but happy that he was there in your time of need. My motorcycle boots actually have a zipper on the side as well as laces. So several times I would just have the laces tied loose and slip the boot on and zip up the zipper. It worked. Other thing that worked was whining to my wife, honey I can’t tie my shoes! LoL !When I had my big bike accident, I was lying in the road, looking up through my visor. There was a ring of people around the opening, looking down into my helmet.
Suddenly this cheerful bike courier I knew, who had recognised my bike upright in the side of a car, stuck his head into the ring. I felt calm then.
Anyway, Grierson was his name. Always talking and laughing. Could be slightly irritating at times. But was I pleased to see him.
Which is a longwinded way of saying, I only wear slip-on shoes. He introduced me to them. And to that friend of mine who isn't now a friend of mine on his wife's orders.
Grieson died just a few years after that, working on a car. Crushed head against a wall. I still think of him, slipping on my shoes.
Slip-ons are so unfashionable they're great. And of course ideal for those of reduced mobility.
