Most of this past week was fairly mild with a lot of rain , but today the sun came out and it got up to a pleasant 7C (45F) :oh:
Two of our club members even rode bikes to Sunday breakfast today :oh:
Since it was so mild I took the opportunity to put up some Christmas decorations outside. Some neighbours go whole hog with lights, etc., but I'm more modest (lazy :ya2:) and just changed some bulbs for coloured ones and set up a few lighted plastic fixtures on a timer. Just enough to add a little sparkle and take away the bareness.
My front steps exit right onto the sidewalk so if I decorated the front of the house you can bet the vandals and thieves would have a field day so I just do a few changes at the back that can be seen from the two side streets.

Is this your house on the right?

Cheers, I have a small folder with a couple of little gems like that, sometimes I read a post and think ' I've the comeback". Glad that we laugh at the same things.

Having a good belly laugh is one of lifes greatest joys. No "Gloomy Gus" here. Life is too short for that.
