Really not a big issue but this might save one of you a bit of time working on your old Triumph. I needed a ( new inner) cable for my 73 750 triumph,the outside portion was like new so I went to the parts house to buy a new ( inner cable.) The cable was readily available ,many different brands,Labeled ( Universal Speedometer kit) measure & make you own. Make a long story short,all the right lengths, but not the right dia ,all about .025 ( not wide/thick enough).I went through a bunch of different brands ,all the same ..
