Went to this tonight to listen to a talk about the British Tommy's who went to war during WW1. After the talk, I went around the exhibits.

This is a cockpit of an RAF Tornado, The chap let me sit in it, there's not a lot of room inside, but what a lot of dials and instruments there are.

These are some of the displays, I'll go back next year and have a better look around, as from tomorrow it's closed till next April.

The picture of the air raid siren brings back memories! I was born in Saxilby and in the 70's used to go and watch Lincoln City FC at Sincil Bank. In the Clanford End of the ground there was an air raid siren that was sounded every time City got a free kick or a corner. It made a very good atmosphere at the game!
I think they still have one now.
