Yeah, same here. I think the sadder thing is not that he's dead per say, but how frail we are that a 50 year old who wasn't obese or a hopeless drug addict can just drop dead like that. makes you feel sorta hopeless. heck, i'm almost 6 years older than him so it kinda gives me the feeling i'm livin on borrowed time ! :oh:

LOL @ Gary !! :ya2:

I hear that it was due to the steroids he'd been taking in preparation for the upcoming Olympics. He was going to try and medal in weightlifting! :y114:

Hey, the dude was just plain weird.

Did you know why he went to Kmart?
He heard kid's pants were 1/2 off. :y27:

Heheheeeeee....................

Sure, he was a talented entertainer and musician, but he lost his way, and his mind, at some stage.

Oh well what can I say I was not his biggest fan but I suppose he was still a brother, a son and a friend to some. Funny thing is I read some place that his doctor had advised him to put on serious weight before his London concert otherwise he would collapse :silent:

Well the word on the net is he was abusing medication. So unless you are overdosing on Tbird you should be ok :y114:

Brian Oxman, a family spokesperson for Michael Jackson's family who was with some of the singer's siblings when he died yesterday (June 25), has said he believes that Jackson’s death was due to medication abuse.

Oxman told CNN that Jackson's use of medications had "got in the way" of his rehearsals for his scheduled residency at the London O2 Arena, and accused the shows' promoters of abuse.

Listen to the interview by clicking on the video below.

"I do not know the extent of the medications he was taking but the reports that we have been receiving in the family is that it was extensive," he said. "This was something that I feared and warned about.

"This family has been trying for months and months and months to take care of Michael Jackson. The people who have surrounded him have been enabling him. If you think that the case of Anna Nicole Smith wasn’t abuse it is nothing in comparison to what we have seen taking place in Michael Jackson's life.

I can sure believe that. He was in the process of working out for the upcoming comeback tour with Lou Ferrigno as his coach. So i have no doubt he was either overdoing the workouts or taking some sort of steroids or drugs of some sort. Being a little older than him i can attest to the fact that for some people, myself included, too much exercise can be dangerous.

I certainly was no fan. I do feel for his family. The thing that bothers me most is that his death eclipsed the death of the beautiful Farrah Fawccet. A lady that I was hoping would win her battle with cancer. She had surgery as a new born on her colon. RIP Farrah.
