This is not intended to nitpick or point fingers - just clarification.This is a Triumph oil-in-frame. The very large oil holding frame tube ran from the headstock, under the gas tank and then down where a gauze filter was fitted on the bottom end. The filter was removed to drain the oil.I'm 100% certain no oil was in any of the smaller frame tubes where the sidestand lug is attached.Any welding there should be no problem.I'm no "expert" and stand to be corrected [ATTACH=full]57760[/ATTACH]
