HEHE, thanks Carl. I didn't do much but saw a post at vBulletin.org, came here saw what you were doing or trying to do and gave ya my input as well as a couple of other goody links which I hope they worked out here for you guys

Yes the classified would not work on a sub domain by the looks of it

AWESOME, glad to see it working now. I had a feeling that was the case of it not wanting to work in the subdomain. Some other mods are like that too I have found out.
But glad it is working and I see someone already has something on there.

When you click on "New Posts" of course you get a page with all the posts that are new and unread.
At least me, as a Mod, (I don't know if everyone sees them?) there are check boxes to the left of each new post.
But what if you have a few of those you want to mark as read? How do you go about marking one or a few on that list of new posts as read without manually clicking on them?

You will have to actually select the ones you want to mark as read. Here is a bit more on this Mark Threads As Read

OK cool...I have it now.
If you don't check any thread, that option doesn't show up. But as long as something is checked, you must get the "Make Read" option.
Yes that is correct you select it from your Moderation Tools at the bottom right of the thread
Now only one problem....it doesn't mark them as read???
I check them off, choose Mark As Read, click Proceed, and the same posts come back under "New Posts".

I'm sorry...it DOES work - just not the way I thought it would.
When the page refreshes, they are still there but are not bolded. Then when you come back to the New Posts after going to another page, they are missing from the list.

Minor detail! AJ, I went through the same thing before I figured out what was happening.
