Devo aint from OZ, but bluddy close, across the ditch in NZ.
Was a time that just about every sentence started with bluddy and finished with bastard.
Ya best mate was a good bastard, and your enemy was a bluddy bastard.
Kids these days are becoming corrupted by international TV and such sayings are the domain of old bastards. :sad:

I am not sure if these are 'true' Aussie sayings, but I heard these two in a film I was watching.
'Flat out like a lizard drinkin!'
And the old favourite to describe Aussie foreplay, 'brace yourself Shiela!' :ya2:
