Two of my favorites.

Little Darth was a Super Bowl commercial and I think it was the best one to air this year. A bit of trivia, the kid in the commercial had never seen any of the Star Wars movie before doing the commercial. He did say he would probably watch them now.

Way back in my college days, I took a course on TV advertising.

At that time (and this may be different today) the most successful TV advertisement was a VW commercial.

Old timers might remember it......

It began with a low-angle shot of a rotating tire going through snow. As the tire came to a stop in the snow, the camera panned-out and you could see a man's feet going through the snow and inside a building. As the camera panned further out, a large garage door opens and a snow plow starts up and drives out. The announcer than says: "Did you ever wonder how the guy that drives the snow plow gets to the snowplow?".

I don't remember that commercial; but I like it. Down here the Beatles and the Duaphines would run on the beach in the sand where even 4WD vehicles could not go.
