The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) is back for 2023 with Triumph as its main sponsor!

This year marks a decade of sponsorship from Triumph Motorcycles, who has been a pivotal force in the stunning ~$37 million USD raised for men’s health.

2022 saw the DGR raising almost $6 million – a new record that pays homage to the hundreds of thousands of riders from over 900 cities globally; 2023 will, in turn, carry the torch forward with a schedule slotted to begin on Sunday, May 21st.

“[2023] will mark Triumph’s 10th anniversary as DGR main sponsor and we are working on something incredibly special to celebrate that milestone,” enthuses Paul Stroud, the Chief of Triumph’s Commercial Office.

“… There really is nothing better than seeing tens of thousands of gentlefolk smiling and waving their way through city streets in support of prostate cancer research and men’s mental health,” adds Mark Hawwa, DGR’s Founder.

“[2023] will be one to watch as we celebrate 10 years together with Triumph Motorcycles in spectacularly sartorial style!”

With last year’s iteration showing off a collaboration between Triumph and Gibson (and a one-off T120 Gibson edition given to the highest fundraiser), we look forward to hearing about what the DGR and Triumph have in store for their decennial anniversary.

63 days to go, so head over to the DGR’s website if you want to enter and be a part of the 2023 debonair delight.

Has anybody in here actually ridden in one of these?
DoorPosition, Yes, the last 2 years I participated and raised funds for prostate cancer and men's mental health issues. DGR is well organized and worldwide and and easy for the rider as your sponsors use your link to select a donation amount or write in their own and it is through the secure website. They even provide a sample invite letter to get you started. Our local Triumph dealer rode with us as a Team and after the event we had a meal together at a local restaurant/pub. Planning on riding again this year in Cleveland, Ohio.

Here's my link as an example

My bike club rides in the DGR every year and also makes a donation to the cause.
Like Clyde, our ride ends at a restaurant (reserved space) to end the day.
Rocky, it is a great time for our group to all get together. I noticed my "signature" says riding for 7 months, lol I've been riding since 1982 how can I correct that? Tried making changes in my profile.

I’m well aware of what it is. There’s one here for the region where I’m at every year.

I do an annual ride for a local animal rescue league. Between that and like 3 hundred+ a year to SPCA, I’m good.

I'm entering the Bournemouth and Poole ride for the 3rd year. I have recently had Prostate Cancer and treatment and hopefully now I'm in remission so this charity is particularly important to me as they financially support Prostate Cancer UK. I was made aware of the importance of getting a PSA test by this ride and I'm so glad I did!! If you are over 50 get yourself a PSA test, sometimes there are no symptoms of Prostate cancer!!
If you would like to sponsor me/donate please follow this link. In my first year I raised the most money in my Bournemouth ride, please help me do it again and follow my blog on that page.
Many thanks, Malcolm

I do the full blood test once a year and started when I turned 50.

Nice post, Malcolm, I will check out your link later :) I am riding my first time with nearby Salisbury ride, starting at Compton Abbas airfield. I am working on the bike today, trying to get it in shape for the ride. I started riding again a few years back and it has been really good for my mental health! gfolk.me/KevinRice493211
