The Cross of Christ

Quite often people ask me the meaning of the cross I display on my bikes and in my jacket. Some other people look with curiosity but don’t ask.

Here goes the explanation.

I'm not trying to sound like a know-it-all, but I knew the history of the cross.
Within the last couple of years I watched a movie about Christopher Columbus and the discovery of "the new world."
The sailing ships in the movie had that cross on their sails and I was curious about it and did some research.
Since then I think it was you, Joao, who also explained it to me.

I never "put two and two together" and associated the cross on your bikes with the history of it before.
