1 July dawned bright and sunny with temps expected to be in the mid 20's C.
We gathered at a gas station parking lot on the edge of town at 10:00 AM for the annual Canada Day ride. 19 riders set out, but we picked up another five riders along the way.

Our coastal route led us along back roads and onto a branch road which ended on a dirt road in a small village for a butt rest. The arrival of a large group of motorcycles always causes a buzz in the quiet village.

From there we followed more coastal roads until we arrived at the sheltered property of a club member for a BBQ.

We were treated to baked beans, hot dogs and soft drinks, then the hostess brought out two baked cakes. I was able to get a picture before the vultures had picked the platters clean BGRIN
OK, I'll confess, I ate two pieces of cake FACE
What a great way to celebrate our nations birthday!

Run everybody the bikers are here. Great pictures Rocky, Picture No 4 is my favourite. The weather this year in the UK has been terrible to put it mildly. So seeing pictures like this is really great, and torture at the same time. Glad that you had a fantastic day.

Up until a couple of weeks ago our spring weather had been cool and damp - then suddenly it was summer. It often happens that way.
September into October can be some of the best times for riding so at least we have that to look forward to.

We classify any bike 25 years and older as "vintage" so there are 4 vintage Goldwings in our club that I can think of.

Great pics and ride report Rocky. The weather has definitely been nice lately. We came to the Valley this week end and unfortunately was not on bike. Came down for the HOME - Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo
What a great show. Well worth the drive. Traffic in Halifax was real easy to get around in too. What's up with that?

Did you take any pictures ?? It would be great to see some if you did
