Last night on my way home at around 8pm I hear this bike screaming behind me, next second he comes past me doing about 120 kilometer/hour = 74.564 543 069 mile/hour (mph) in a 60 kilometer/hour = 37.282 271 535 mile/hour (mph) zone. So if that was not bad enough I see him jump 3 red traffic lights in front of me. Now there are traffic lights on this road at each intersection (block) so I can only assume that he treated them all the same

So the next thing when he gets killed we read about what a great person he was but people like this only have themselves to blame if this does happen. The sad part is they normally take out some innocent person with them.

I can't say I've had that happened to me, but I frequently see young bucks on sport bikes blasting through traffic well over the limit and jumping/weaving through lanes.
All it takes is for some impatient driver to suddenly switch lanes and they would be toast.
I just shake my head in dismay.
There have already been deaths and serious injuries from crashes this season due to loss of control or due to excessive speed - and 99% were single vehicle incidents.
The most recent death was a middle aged man on a big heavy cruiser who lost control and crashed.
He was a new rider with little riding experience, but had to have a Harley as a first bike instead of starting on something smaller and working up.
But no, He had to have a Harley so he could show off that he was a big bad biker - in his own mind.
So stupid and needless.

I would say it weeds out the idiots--- however when they are flying down a 4 lane with stop lights (as happened just a mile from my house) and a car pulls out they not only kill themselves they killed 2 people IN THE CAR.....so 3 lost their lives because of ONE jackass.
I pass by the crosses almost every day--- makes ya think for sure.
