Hi, can anyone tell me the correct route for the oil tank breather to exit under the rear number plate. How is it clipped under the mudguard and is the breather just round tube or a special profile, I have heard it's possibly a D shape but not really sure.
Thanks, Barry

With the 1970 models Triumph went with a primary breather system with a "D" shaped hose running along side (outside) the left side of the rear fender, secured by clips, and exiting at the end of the fender. The oil tank is vented by means of a "T" into the "D" pipe. None of this apples to the 1967 model.
I stand to be corrected, but if the 1967 model oil tank was vented to the rear of the rear fender it doesn't show in the parts book and in any pictures of a T90 I have. Maybe it does run along inside of the fender, and if so, it would have been just a plain round hose.
I have never examined a T90 so I don't know for sure, but if it was vented in this manner it would seem that the clips to hold it would be welded on the fender somewhere - or evidence of them having been there.
On the 1970 model there are holes in the fender for the clips and that's how mine are mounted.
I may be out in left field, but if there is evidence of a rear vent (I'm assuming this is what prompted your question) I'm thinking that a PO may have run the vent to the rear whereas I think it may have just been run down the side of the oil tank and vented under the bike. That sounds more logical to me.
But if the factory did run a vent to the rear there should be some evidence of it left - assuming the fender is original and hasn't been replaced with something else.
Sorry I can't be of more help, but if I find out anything more I'll post it.
