Hi, Charlie from Cape Town again, I have been watching a "horror story" video about T120 gearbox problems. I had a situation ,on a trip where I had a problem changing down from 6th gear. It only happened once though. How common are the T120 gearbox problems, Is it something for me to worry about ? South Africa is a big, dangerous country with virtually no assistance available outside of the two main centres which are 1000 miles apart.
Thanks, Charlie

Was the horror story on youtube from a brit???

Ok....prob the same guy....bit of an attention seeker....he has got a bad name over here.

Triumph have tried the best to accommodate him....think he is your customer from hell.
he also put the fear of g-d in me by saying that the waxed cotton panniers are damaged if rained upon. The fact that the Bonnie is a "British" bike and should be impervious to the weather conditions had me very confused!
