I thought I would get a ride report thread set up for T.R.A.M.P. 2014.

To get this started, T.R.A.M.P. was set up as a chance for some of us Tiger riders to get together for a fun weekend together and to finally meet each other face to face. Well we, some of us, have now done this and had a blast. T.R.A.M.P. has taken on a new life and gave birth to what we plan to be an annual event. So watch for the next T.R.A.M.P. Event notification. All I can say about the SECOND ANNUAL T.R.A.M.P. at this time is it will once again be held at Cheaha State Park and will more than likely be held about the same time next year.

So enough of that stuff. . . here is a few teaser photos while I work on my ride report and video editing.

More to come. . .

HEY! That looks familiar......Hemi got my "best" side :y13:
I mentioned it before and will certainly ad here........the roads in the Talladega Nat. Forest are AWESOME! For those that didn't make this event you REALLY need to try to make next years. There are miles of twisty roads with big elevation changes, and those where just the paved ones, there are some trails and fire roads we didn't even begin to have time to play on. I may try and ad an extra day to my itinerary next year just for more Forest Exploration :y2: And possibly not get lost so I can lead others on a ride out or two .......................now thats a scary proposition............being lead into unfamiliar forest by ME!:y10:

Here's a raw bit of video from the ride back to Cheaha. . . darkness fell on us as we were headed up the mountain. The dark hides the elevation changes which a couple of them can be pretty surprising in the daylight.

I'll be working on getting a better video posted shortly, well over the next day or so. It is a little better in full screen mode.

My route out was interesting as well. 231 to the end. Then take a grey trail on the map.....it was a paved road maybe 30 years ago, mostly broken asphalt and steep drop.........it was awesome. :-)
I can't imagine what other uncovered jewels lie in the roads up that way lol
