The original owner of my just-acquired '07 has been using only synthetic oil in her but Haynes says to use semi-synthetic. Any harm that might come about if I change to the semi?

I like to change my oil in the fall before a six month winter storage period.
Even though I may not have put enough mileage on the bike to warrant a change so soon, I do it anyway.
For that reason I use semi-synthetic Motul. I feel less sad to be throwing away good oil before it's time is up.
If you lived in an area where you can ride all year, I would go with synthetic, but changing back to semi-synthetic will do no harm whatsoever.

you are fine switching between semi and full synth ......just not mineral as the mineral will not mix with synth but will mix with some semi synth .
I bet you love this don't you keys. :y2:

YOU asked for it!
