I’ll second this! LoL.
Just a quick Saturday morning ride with son in-law on his Indian, breakfast stop at Healesville then on to Kinglake via state forest. Round trip 214 k. Just got the Thunderbird sorted after a long lay up good to be back on her. Plenty of mountain riding at my back door Victoria Australia. Lots of kangeroos so need to be careful early morning.

Sounds great! We have to be careful with deer here in Texas depending on the season and time of day, usually mornings.

Have to watch out for deer here in Michigan USA as well- nearly 2 million deer herd and more than 58,000 vehicle/deer crashes in 2022. Could not find motorcycle/deer collision statistics.

Tell the truth: did you wind it up a bit in corners to show your son-in-law what a lumbering mass he is riding compared your agile bike? My friend has an Indian Chief (or something), and I have been know to zip around a corner or two, accelerate into a straight on my Sprint GT, then wait for him to catch up. Adolescent behavior, I know. With my new-to-me Trophy SE, I will likely have somewhat less of an agility advantage until I get used to the extra 35 kg and upright riding position.

Still winter here in New Jersey, USA, so both bikes are just taking up space in the garage. :(

68 years has slowed my want for speed a bit, let the young blokes lead I’m happy to still ride. Want another few years from the Thunderbird. Managed 320k solo couple of days ago was great headed to place called Loch in Gippsland.

That looks like a nice setting for a ride. I assume that you had a few peeks at the sea along the way? My only visit to Australia was to Sydney (my son had a semester abroad and UNSW) and Port Douglas. Loved the Blue Mountains! It would have been great to have the bike there, but the 3 other members of my family might have objected. PS. I'm 62, but still like a short sprint now and again. Ask me again in 5 years, and I'm sure that I'll have a different answer.
