Saturday, four of us attended an MSTA lunch a Jay Bee's east of Lake Wales. It was cloudy when we left at 0930; but no rain. The temp on the ride down was 66 F/19 C, not bad for a December morning. We had a good ride down with only moderate traffic. We met another rider in Haines City and the five of us continued on. The food was really good. I had fried catfish (yum!), grits, fried okra and Key lime pie. We took back roads part of the way home and rode a total of 152 miles/245 kilometers. The temp was a pleasant 73F/23 C on the ride home. It was sunny with scattered clouds. Fine ride, good food and great fellowship.
