GrandPaul.......do you know Fred Willink....I think I spelt his surname right. He races for Triumph now. I work once a week with his brother....fred puts the young guys to shame....

Yessir, Fred racked up 4 straight wins at Miller (Salt Lake City) and Sandia (Albuquerque) last month in AHRMA on his Thruxton Cup bike. I didn't check his stats, but there may have been a few more wins strung together going in to that trip. he's FAST and ultra-smooth; he teaches riding schools here and there, Willow Springs, and maybe Laguna Seca, I believe.

Fred's pit is the place to be; he turns gasoline into coffee in the morning (coffeepot powered by small Honda generator), and then he has wine and cheese with peanut butter and chipotle pepper tacos in the evenings.

He also has super-secret Blue chain lube in a small dropper bottle, one drop per chain link, specially formulated by an acquaintance of his that is either at NASA or Area 51 or Skunkworks or something. Supposedly you can run those chains at the equivalent of 400 MPH without failure (or some ungodly ridiculous abuse); anyway, it's really good stuff.

I don't think so, it's SUPER SECRET!

It probably causes cancer in California, too.

If I was living in california, I'd move away from there! Lots of stuff causes cancer there, if you read the labels...

I was afraid that would be the case. I thinking that stuff would do well with the Florida summer rains. Maybe they need someone to test it in Florida...

GrandPaul......a few weeks ago Dick (Freds brother) played me a vid of a camera on Freds Bike...CRAZY!!!! I have met him when he has been in town here in Florida. It was Dick that told me I could get Triumphs here. Me being English i think he was gobsmacked that I wasn't looking at Triumphs. When i explained "hey didn't know you had dealers here" That was it, I knew what i wanted. I believe that when fred was in town I called my mate and he was there. He asked what triumph i wanted and that he knew somebody with a one of a kind bike.....not sure what model it was....like a daytona or Tiger or something like that. It was built for an owner of Triumph I believe...one of a kind but i told my mate im not looking for a bloody jet propelled bike...hahahaha would of been nice to be the only person in the bloody world to own it though.

Have a good one mate

One word, ENVY

The weather is better here, the riding is better here, the food is better here, our women look better and we have a full set of teeth.
