These days anything I see posted on the internet if it does tweak my interest in some way I take a bit of time to check it out and see if it is actually fact. We just have so many people especially on Facebook that adopt the attitude if it is one Facebook it must be true so lets share it. This really amazes me because if you actually know these people in real life most of them are really intelligent. This make you wonder just what happens to the brain when Facebook is engaged.

I just found this article that show just how people manipulate things to portray what they would like people to believe.

People Are Posting Examples Of How Media Can Manipulate The Truth (15 Pics)

When all of this started i fell for some of these things, now i am so unsure about just about everything i read or hear its hard to believe without checking things out first. Its pitiful when you have to investigate everything you come in contact with.

Some of the stuff people share if they even just sat for a minute and thought about it they would see it is so far out there it just could not be true. This is the reason I basically stopped using Facebook and now I only use it to post up information on my IT company that I have started.

Just because the "news" or information is INSTANT ----doesnt mean its true or correct.......
Here in the U.S. newspapers are disappearing at an alarming rate----- the "printed word" is becoming a thing of the past---

To my mind the downsides too this ---
AS stated above --
1. just because the information is fast doesn't mean its accurate
2. the interwebs are ultimately "controlled" by just a handful of sources (google --microsfot etc) and those source can control WHAT you see---read---hear--watch---much easier than a thousands printing presses in your individual city -----
