So the Christmas/December silly season is well upon us. In no time at all, it'll be Christmas day!

So.................... what is everyone doing this Christmas and what's on your wish-list?? :y18:

At the top of my wish list is continued good health for me and continued recovery for Mae Lyne and Dad. On the material side - a Vincent Black Shadow! :ya2:

Continuing good health for me and mine is about all I can wish for.
I already have most of the material things a reasonable person could want so Christmas isn't really a "big gift" occasion for me or my wife. We enjoy giving to our two children and their spouses who are doing very well in their own right, but it's nice to spoil them once in a while at Christmas.
Since my wife's health became so bad five years ago we've given up on the big Christmas dinner at home. On Christmas day I take the family out to a local hotel for the Christmas buffet and let everyone stuff themselves. It's a great family time and we can leave the dirty dishes behind.
The cooks in the family really like that part :ya2:

This year we're staying in town for the hol's,it's my turn to run the office.
It's actually quite nice when everyone's left for the coast, you can get into restaurants, get parking slow the pace down a bit....................

I must agree - Jo'burg & surrounds are great in Dec! Everything you said and there's hardly any taxis around. Such a pleasure!

Good topic!

I'm going away for a few days before Christmas to the mountains & I hope to do my first trip in to Lesotho.

I'll reflect on a unique and very demanding year, thank my lucky stars that it all went pretty well & dare to plan some goals for 2011.

My Daytona's getting a Christmas present - led mini indicators to replace the massive rectangular originals!

I've finally worked out how to solve world hunger, and, bring about lasting peace, was going to go public for Christmas but then decided to keep it to myself, stuff em, bah humbug.

I have my Mam and Dad coming up for Christmas, providing we get rid of the snow!
Dad is recovering from an operation on his shoulder so I may be going on 350 mile round trip to pick them up.
I will be pleased to see the back of this year to be honest, I had a mini-stroke in April, and then the Doc found a 20mm lump in my thyroid gland. Anyway I have survived all that and am looking forward to a better year next year!
As for prezzies, I just bought my T100 a pair of these, no more broken spokes!
They are Talon hubs with straight pull stainless spokes and silver anodised Behr rims.

Hello Forum:
This Christmas I'll go with my wife and children of you mother  in Buenos Aires (60 kms). My desires are simplified, only a 2011 a little better this year ... just a little bit more.
To you, my most sincere wishes for peace, health and prosperity ... although we may never meet face to face with none, I have them in my heart.
VERY GOOD CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

Christmas to me is overrated.A time for retailers to grab as much as they can from us.I am not religious but I can only guess that the true meaning of this time has been forgotten.Same applies for Easter, Mothers Day ,fathers day etc.

I try to make all days special and choose to spend my time with the people I love. Why do we need an excuse to buy people presents???

Ok Tarty......

I have known you since I got my T100, which we will round off to exactly 5 years.
Therefore you owe me 1826 presents. I'll pm my address for delivery. :ya2:

By the way.... have a :y97:
