Hi All,
When I log in and go to unread posts I find many posts from "BikeNews", I'm already swamped with this kind of information from other places. Question, is it possible, and if so how to block "BikeNews" posts and only view posts from real people? I have poked about in my settings and can't figure it out.
Cheers,
Kevin.

Thanks Carl,
I had previously navigated my way to that area and ticked News and Computer First-Aid thinking the "News" area was what I was trying to kill off but still was getting BikeNews. Because BikeNews isn't actually mentioned I have just ticked Media Gallery and About Media Gallery for good measure, I have also ticked Funny Stuff thinking this will kill off the Garfield cartoons. Because I drop in to TT infrequently sometimes the unread messages are 2 or 3 pages long and it's the personal messages that I want to catch up with not auto generated news stories. Lets see how the new settings work put.
Thanks again,
Kevin.

Sorry that I'm a bit slow on the uptake regarding the settings area. I've been changing and mucking about with my settings for a couple of days now, so, have I got this right. I can tick boxes and stop posts to that section, therefore stopping all posts to that section, but I can't kill off posts from just one poster, in this case BikeNews. I have noticed BikeNews post in a number of areas. To clear BikeNews I have to tick all posts from them every time I log on and go to unread posts. That's the best achievable outcome?

Well I've sorted it out. I have so many sections ticked when I go to unread posts there's (almost) never any  but I have killed off BikeNews :ya2:. I feel like Jim Carrey in the Grinch, live in a cave, hates every one and is surprised that he has no messages :y114:

Well at one time you used to submit such cool ride reports what happened to them

Mate, it all got too political on TT for me so only look in irregularly. You never know, checking posts of late things appear to be calm, will keep an open mind. I know some good people hang about this forum.
