I'd seen that before and had forgotten about it. When they showed the inside of the tire was when I remembered see it. I still haven't heard of anyone actually using it yet for a real world demo and write up. Maybe someone will do it before I forget about it again, not that it would do me any good on the Tiger or the dirt bikes.

It is impressive. I have not seen a self sealing motorcycle tire offered.

I posted this one another forum and it seems that it messes with the weight of the tyre (tire) making it unbalanced
Funny that you mention that as that was my first thought when I saw it sprayed/applied on the inside of the tire.
But I suppose the wheel could be balanced to compensate.(?)

So that is the downside and explains why we have not seen them offered. I too would think the tires could be balanced to compensate; but may be the sealing compound is difficult to apply evenly. Not that I could use them anyway, all my bikes are tubed tires. :y2:

I use this in my tubes, http://www.ride-on-uk.com/product.php?xProd=3&xSec=1
I have only had it in one season, but it has no averse effects on the balance of the tyres. A friend of mine has been using it for years. He first came across it used in mountain bike tyres.

How does this compare with Slime brand sealant? I read others talking about this product but haven't found it locally so I can compare the two.
