The motorcycle built for David Beckham for his adventure deep into the Amazon jungle is on display at the National Motorcycle Museum.

Part Triumph Bonneville, part Scrambler, part desert-sled this aggressive black jungle special is another chapter in the story of one of history’s most versatile motorcycles. On display at the NMM is the very bike featured in Beckham’s BBC documentary. With a Scrambler-esque profile, chunky off-road tyres, a high-level performance Arrow exhaust and no front or rear mudguards to speak of, the Bonneville T100 base bike evolved into a true one-off.

Thanks to Triumph Motorcycles, David Beckham’s motorcycle – in all it’s mud splattered glory will be on display in Hall 1 of the Museum until February 2015.

The Museum is open every day 8.30am-5.30pm over the Christmas period except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing day. Why not go and see this and nearly 1000 other machines for yourself over the holiday period.

MoreBikes is for people who love motorcycles. John Milbank is the editor: "My passion for bikes started with a ride on the back of a mate's Yamaha FZR1000 EXUP. From there I've had three Honda CBR600s, three Ducati Monsters, a Kawasaki Z1000SX, a Honda Dominator, a Honda CRM250, a Honda MTX125, a Yamaha DT80, a Yamaha Fazer 1000, a Honda Pan European, a Honda VFR800 and a Yamaha SR125. I love all bikes, and am as content to be tinkering in the garage as I am to be riding on the road or a track."
