We have a mandatory annual MVI (Motor Vehicle Inspection) in this province and all my bikes expired while I was recuperating from my injuries.
Last Wednesday I took the '70 Triumph out for the MVI and then rode it to and from the Biker Bash show last weekend.
On Monday I pulled the H**** out and took it in for the MVI. Our vintage bike club President runs a small-engine repair business and is also an authorized motorcycle-only inspection station. There are several bike shops within a few minutes of where I live, but the club members like to give the business to our President - even though he's in the county and 30 minutes away. What the heck, it's a good excuse for a ride :ya2:
After I got home I pulled out the Bonneville and did the same thing.
It was cool but sunny so I didn't go right home but did a loop in the country on the Bonnie and covered about 100 kilometres. My shoulder and hand didn't feel a thing - much to my great delight :y115:
I've recovered well (which is still ongoing) and it was wonderful to be able to ride again.
