I made a very neat shock adjuster tool out of a 1/4' stainless bolt. Just went to my local home improvement store (Lowe's in my area) and bought one that was 6" long with about 1" or so of thread. Cut off the threaded section, dressed the end on a grinding wheel and "voila".............one very inexpensive adjuster tool.

On the subject of thick-soled boots: As I've only got a 29" inseam, I've had an extra set of soles and heels added to some of my boots, in the past. Not the greatest for walking around in, but you can always carry a pair of whatever to wear after you get off the bike.

I got alot lower by swapping a base Bonneville seat (same as SE seat) onto my T100. No miles on it yet so I don't know if I'll have comfort or peg issues when I start riding.

shorter shocks as well as dropping the forks in the trees can help, the newer base and se models set lower but seat is pretty thin!! their lighter weight is a plus compared to other models as well
