well I got fed up with having to polish the corrosion of my alloy rims , so Ive done them in satin black and I think the whole bike looks much more slick and up to date .

Excellent work Shane. It does exactly what you expected, really makes the bike look tidy and IMHO more "rugged" Wanna come do mine?:y2:
 
Nice indeed! Triumph shoulda done that in the first place.

Now what did you do....just hold the rattle can still and spin the wheel? :)

I like. I did the same to my 09 KLR 650 but used a product call " plastidip" in a rattle can. Check out YouTube. dipyourcar. People spray their entire cars with this stuff and if you don't like it, you can peel it off like cling wrap. It doesn't chip or peel, holds up to pressure washing too. I even sprayed the rims on my land cruiser.
