well realy pains me to do this but I have got to sell blonde as I'm not in a position to own to bikes ! And I've done a total of 140 miles on her in to stints and I can't get of coz if I do I can't get back on !
It kills my knees and the riding position almost locks them , so it's got to go to pay for my next something more comfy so it's on eBay at the minute .
It's doing £1950 at the moment and I have a reserve of £2250 so not far off , I'm looking at getting another tiger or a 1200 trophy .
It's a shame but I just can't ride it I didn't relise my knees had got so bad and my right wrist dosnt like it ether , I hate getting older !

Getting older sure sucks but I know what you are talking about. As much as I loved baseball and the time I spent umpiring, my knees made the final call. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to ride a bike such as Blonde because of my knees.

I hate to say it yet I have to say it, good luck with the sale.

It's a long time since I rode a sport bike and it seems I can't anymore , I'm long in the leg as well 34" inside which makes it worse .
It is very very annoying but I need to to get something I can ride soon or I will go made !

Shane, I am sorry that you have to sell it. But I certainly can empathize. I can only do about 20 minutes on a sport bike - wrist hurts, knees hurt, and my back hurts. I wish you the best with your sale. Keep us posted on what you get.

Good Luck with the sale, Shane. Hope you get something that suits your riding style and physic. It's nice when the two work together. Makes for a much better ride when you're comfortable on your bike. I have an inseam like yours, so I know what you mean by needing that leg room on the bike.

Well it will end tonight at 11pm and is at £1950 at the minute ! You probably think I'm nuts but what I've allways realy liked and wanted was the first triumph from hinkely I ever saw and that was a trophy 4 the first model I would love one of those ! Well I've found this and if the super 3 goes I will be very tempted .

What do you lot think ? Or should I get something newer ?

I had an FJ1200 years ago, and test road the Trophy 1200, I was gobsmacked at how comfortably it was, and it seemed to be on par with my FJ, if I would have had the money it wouldn't have taken much to tempt me to buy it. I think that you'd get on just fine with it.

Sold my Speed3 for the same reason Shane---LOVED the bike but it was just to hard on my knees and wrists. You might (might) want to be sure the Trophy is to your knees liking as well......the riding position isn't THAT much different......Really mate----a TIGER(or similar) is going to be the most comfortable for us long legged buggers ;)
