Canadian Police orchestrate massive operation against Hells Angels activity
A GLOBAL CRACKDOWN on biker gangs seems to be gaining momentum after around 150 people were arrested, mostly from the Hells Angels in Canada.
BBC News reports that Canadian Police have taken strong action against the infamous bike gang, in an operation involving around 1,200 police officers. The joint operation, involving forces in other countries, saw suspects arrested in France, the Dominican Republic as well as Canada.
Police said 111 of the people arrested are apparently "full patch" members of the Hell's Angels.
"We can go beyond the borders of our country to stop the perpetrators of criminal activity in Canada," said Inspector Richard Emery from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Rocky, is this the real reason you haven,t been riding of late.
