After riding a BMW F650 GS for the last 4 years, I'm excited to now have a Tiger 800XC :y2: for exploring Alberta's Rockies and British Columbia's Kootenay and Okanagan regions. Fantastic riding, but tends to start a bit late in Calgary with the cold weather.

Hello and WELCOME to the forum from Darkest Africa, my brother had the BMW F650 GS and I used to enjoy riding it but never did any serious dirt on it. The tiger sure is a great bike and congratulations on getting it.

Hello and WELCOME to TT from the east coast BBEER
I've ridden through some of those areas you mention on a BMW F650 GS. The scenery is stunning to say the least.
Spring has been late here, and cold and miserable, but it's starting to look better now.
