Well Chris and I managed to get out and do a 245 mile run over to Derbyshire, the weather wasn't brilliant, but I've got my 1st service coming up soon, so I have to get the miles in, anyway here's a few pictures for you
There's a few here for the History buffs amongst us.
This is in Hathersage Church. Little John sure was big.

I always love pictures of the English countryside TUP TUP

All my mother's side of my family came to Canada right after WWI from Nottingham.
My British grandparents told us many stories about Robin Hood and Sherwood Forest.
I don't know how many were stories related from books, or just made up, but they made for good telling and listening BGRIN
At age 97, my mother is the last of that family.

Chris and myself plan on doing this trip again, if and when, summer comes our way. It hammering down now as I type this. FACE
I think the legends and myths we have over here are something else. King Arthur, Robin Hood to name but a few.
